This brought it into continuing conflict with the United States, as the administration of U.S. On 14 March 1979 the People's Revolutionary Army, led by Maurice Bishop, overthrew the newly independent government of the small island of Grenada and established a new regime based on socialist principles. 11.1 Hostage Rescue operation, Hajr al-Sayar district - Yemen, 26 November 2014.9.6 Operation against Al-Shabaab in Barawa, 5 October 2013.9.5 Training with the French DGSE for the Bulo Marer hostage rescue attempt.9.3 The Capture of Ahmed Abdulkadir Warsame.9.2 Operation Celestial Balance, 14 September 2009.9.1 Maersk Alabama hijacking and rescue, 12 April 2009.9 Operation Enduring Freedom – Horn of Africa.8.5 Heliborne raid on safehouse in Iraq.8.4 Raid on 3 separate houses in Iraq in 2007.7.3 Personnel recovery from aircraft crash site.7.2.1 Attempted rescue of American and Australian hostages in Afghanistan, August 2016.
